Crestron boosts the Penn Wharton China Center to inspire future global business leaders
To represent a substantial commitment to advance a long history of engagement with China, the Wharton School and its parent university, the University of Pennsylvania(Penn) established the Penn Wharton China Center in March 2015, located in the World Financial Center at the heart at the heart of the Beijing Central Business District.
As the 12 Penn schools and many academic, government, and business partners throughout China have been colaborating  more, the Penn Wharton China Center acts as another bridge between Penn and China. The center provides on the ground support to facilitate bilateral collaboration in research and education. Through a series of consulting projects, it also aims to help Chinese senior managers and other talents to gain practical skills and a vision of enterprise management that can lead to success in an increasingly interconnected global environment.
 
The new switching standard for every room
To facilitate communication between Penn and China, two-way audio/video lectures and conferences are becoming the norm,and the center has implemented several information point, display devices and video conferencing systems. To facilitate smooth events and conferences simultaneously in the eight meeting rooms, presentation room, multifunctional plaza, and the amphitheater, the center has implemented CrestronDigitalMedia Transmitters in every room, providing ultra fast and convenient audio and video signals to the system at any time. Providing HDMI, VGA, and analog audio inputs along with Ethernet and USB HID ports, Crestron transmitters offer simple and convenient connectivity to various electronic devices, such as laptops and mobile devices. Stable yet comprehensive audio and video transmission to each zone is guaranteed throughout the center delivering on interactive educational experience between lecturers and students. The primary objective of the Crestron technology is to keep everything simple.
